Andreia and Nico asked us to search for inspiration in Serra da Arrábida (Setúbal, Portugal) to design invitations and stationery for their wedding. We loved the idea because Arrábida is one of our favorite places in the world!
We wanted to capture the wild but delicate essence of this small peace of paradise we have close to our homes. And that’s how we came up with the idea of the watercolor painted lavender flowers, that we would later use in other details, such as a customized stamp for the envelopes. We also used kraft paper to give it all a rustic vibe.
The invitations, in our “de-constructed” model, are composed of several independent cards (invitation, map, RSPV). In this case, to wrap it all up, we used a poem written by Sebastião da Gama, that belongs to the bride’s family.
