QUINTA DE ALCUBE WEDDING VOW RENEWAL

To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2018 we launched a giveaway contest. And that’s how we found Soraia and Bruno – or they found us. In order to participate, they only had to tell us why they should win. And they told us they’ve been married for three years but didn’t had any photographs to remember that day. So we challenged them to forget about the session and try to make something a little bit more serious, like getting married again: a wedding vow renovation. A celebration planned by us, just for them. Truth be told, we’ve been willing to make a special session for inspiration for quite sometime, to try and design new things, to photograph in a different setting, and to have the opportunity to work in partnership with local vendors. These two were just the perfect excuse to do so. And boy, we got lucky! Because we got to dream and create freely and even got some honest smiles and kisses for the pictures in return.  

So when springtime came, Soraia and Bruno dressed up like they did on their wedding day, only this time they met us at Quinta de Alcube (Setúbal, Portugal), where they tried some of the wine that’s produced there, along with a delicious and gorgeous cake by our favorite Migalha Doce. Soraia had her hair and makeup done by Bia, while Bruno watched everything, before they changed vows and went for a walk along the vineyards. Simple as that.
