PEONIES WEDDING INVITATION AND STATIONERY

First time we saw Sara and João was in high school. It was a lovely surprise to see them fall in love years later. And it was an even bigger surprise having them challenge us to design the invitations and stationery for their wedding when the time came.

Sara has a passion for peonies and she asked us to paint them in watercolor. Truth be told, it wasn’t easy. We did a lot of sketches that looked a lot more like roses than anything else, until we decided to let the brush flow. And it worked! Sara and João ended up with an invitation with spring colors, just like they imagined. Floral elements were also incorporated in 7x20cm menus and paper numbering for the tables.
